For guests arriving into London via Heathrow Airport, there are several convenient transportation options available to reach Paddington Station and central London accommodations. The Heathrow Express is the fastest option, offering direct service to Paddington in approximately 15 minutes. The Elizabeth Line, on the London Underground (Tube), is a more economical alternative and typically takes 30–40 minutes while still offering direct service into Paddington. Guests may also choose to travel via the Tube (required station changes), rideshare services such as Uber, traditional black cabs, or private transfers depending on comfort level, luggage, and arrival time. Approximate pricing: • Heathrow Express: £10–£26 per person • Elizabeth Line: £12–£15 per person • London Underground (Tube): ~£6 per person • Uber/Taxi: £50–£100 total depending on traffic and time of day For guests traveling with significant luggage or after long international flights, we recommend either the Elizabeth Line or a pre-booked car transfer for the smoothest experience.

GWR will take us from London to Frederick's hometown, Carmarthen. The trip is roughly four hours and very scenic as we leave the hustle and bustle of the city and travel to coastal Wales. Additional information about booking your train ride will be made available in November 2026.
