Matron of Honor
Hello, my name is Azaleah. LaKendra is my best friend and sister. We met on the campus of Benedict College in 2009 when she and I joined THEE Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, INC. From that meeting, I truly gained a sister and family. I am both privileged and honored to serve as Godmother to the couple's beautiful children Taniya and Liam. I am blessed to be on this journey with LaKendra and Terrell as they embark on this new chapter of marriage. I pray for nothing but a successful, blessed, and Godly union for the two. I am so elated to see this day come.

I had the pleasure of knowing Terrell since our school days, but our bond grew stronger when we both joined Aflac. It was a tremendous honor when Rell approached me to be one of the cherished Godmothers to his beloved Liam. Since that moment, our connection has been unbreakable, akin to the strongest adhesive. Through Terrell, I had the privilege of meeting Kendra, a truly remarkable individual with a beautiful soul. In her, I found a sister, and also gained a brother, solidifying the bonds of family and love. 💕💕

LaKendra is one of my closest friends and sisters, my confidant through life’s many adventures, and has always been my reminder to live and enjoy life. We met at The Benedict College in 2010, but unbeknownst to me she’s been part of my family for years prior to us meeting. That Lincolnshire connection runs deep! I’m so honored to be part of her and Rell’s special day and more importantly their lives. Ken you’ve prayed, you’ve done the work on self in the waiting, and you’re reaping the fruit of the seeds planted! May God forever keep pouring his love and grace over your family and your Union! See you on the dance floor!!
Bridesmaid
Hey everyone! My name is Erika! I am so excited and honored to stand by Ken as a bridesmaid, and be a part of her special day! The groom and I go way back to our Benedict days, as he and my best friend are cousins. However, when I was introduced to Ken through a mutual friend years later, there was an instant connection. We hit it off right away, and our friendship quickly blossomed. I absolutely adore her! 😍😍😍 She’s truly the little sister I never had but always wanted! It's incredible how life brings people together, and I couldn't be happier to be a part of their journey as they take this next step in their lives.

Hello, my name is No’Elle. LaKendra and I meet in 2010 at Benedict College and from there we became inseparable. So close that 6 years later we experienced pregnancy together welcoming our baby boys a just a day apart. I am truly blessed to have LaKendra who truly loves me for me as I do the same for her. I’ve seen her take her pain and turn it into strength. She is an amazing example of mom, friend and sister. My favorite thing I cherish about our friendship is we can literally cry together and then five minutes later turn around and laugh about it. I am truly honored to stand next to her and Terrell as they take on the next stage in their lives. To witness their evolution of them dating, creating a beautiful family, successor in their careers & now embarking on this lifetime commitment to each other. Always remember to put God first & take the time to nurture your relationship and each other.

I first met Terrell in college, we connected on our shared love for fashion, music, sports, but most importantly New York City. Harlem isn’t our greatest achievement but my Dad is from there… the same as Terrell so it’ll do. Our friendship blossomed over poor decision making, the comedy of youthful ignorance, and having to defend ourselves in venues with shady liquor licensing. Through the ups and downs of college life until the old age he’s reached, Terrell has always been a great friend there to lend a listening ear or unwanted but necessary criticism. Our friendship is built on a foundation of trust, respect, and mutual admiration, and I am grateful every day for the bond we share. Lastly, me and him both acknowledge Lebron James is not better than Kobe Bryant and that’s the most important part of our friendship.

Dhas. I met the groom at the best hBCu, Benedict College. At this time I was excited as we were getting some new underclassmen from Harlem and being from Harlem that was exciting for me. Initially Rell appeared to be quiet and was not saying much. That quickly changed as he observed how the rest of the crew was moving. We’ve remained close throughout the years although we don’t reside in the same city anymore. Rell is a genuine good guy and is going to make a great Husband. I’m excited for you guys and wish you all the joy you shall have experience.
