Jihai and Jasper met in college. Jihai really really wanted to work with Jasper on their first homework assignment in their Intro to Computer Science class. While Jihai's insistence made him a little hesistant, Jasper decided to go along with it, and the two have been BFFs ever since. Over the next few years, many subsequent study sessions, dinner dates, and random goofiness would follow. Jihai and Jasper share a fondness for Billy Joel, frequently singing his music together (poorly). Dreams came true on Jihai's 26th birthday, when they saw Billy Joel perform live. Jasper is very excited for Jihai and Amy and is looking forward to more dinner dates and random goofiness in years to come.

Christine has known Amy since their high school days at the local Taiwanese church in Walnut Creek, called the East Bay Formosan United Methodist Church. Christine is an orchestral musician and private cello teacher in the East Bay. She loves inquiring Amy about tech things, traveling around the world with her, checking out artsy things together, and supporting each other’s performances! She is thankful and blessed to have Amy as a positive BFF in her life and looks forward to seeing Amy’s next chapter with Jihai. Christine is also looking forward to their wedding and meeting Amy and Jihai’s guests!
