MTB ride through the Red Canyon. Bikes, helmets, water and spare parts needed
I may be out of shape but I still like to ride. Aimee "leads" a MTB ride through the Red Canyon. It's about 30 minute drive away. Bonus points if you ride to the ride. Rent your bike in Springdale on the way into town. Reserve early so you can get your hands on one. We'll shuttle with the Sprinter Van out to the trail head or you can drive out to meet us there. Check it out on MTB Project. One of the most amazing rides in Utah. Don't miss it!
6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Bring climbing shoes and a harness. If you want to join and don't have these items, just email us.
Super duper chill 5.6, 4 pitch route to the beautiful summit of Aries Buttress. It will feel like our own private island. We will carpool or meet us at the trailhead pullout in ZNP. Bring a backpack with beers and snacks. Don't forget water. We'll get everyone up to the top and make a toast. For those interested in climbing, this is an easy route you can do. Just walking up a steep boulder for a few hundred feet. The view is incredible. Wildlife sightings almost always guaranteed. You must have some climbing experience and be comfortable rappelling.
8:30 am - 12:30 pm
We are organizing a few things for Friday afternoon that would be fun for all ages. It will be hotttt so dress accordingly.
You can schedule this on your own but if you'd like to go with the group, email us with your party size so we can add you to the reservation. Guides will drive our group to some slot canyons where we will have a chance to see some pretty cool features. Opportunities for rappelling and canyoneering. We will not be driving the ATVs but instead will be driven by guides. End price will be determined by the # of folks who sign up but roughly $100 each. Other great daytime activities include horseback riding tours, Zion Via Ferrata, and general ATV rentals where you can drive yourself on trails through the desert.

Limited spots available for a very special opportunity. The most archival photography available and a perfect family memory for your time in Zion. Email Aimee by July 15th to book your spot: aimeekat79@gmail.com Daytime is the best time of day for these photos. Those booking evening appointments are limited to two people per photo due to lighting restraints. Each photo will take about 15 min and costs $100. Where else can you have an 11x14 portrait made in tintype? You will pay the photographer directly. Cash only. What is tintype? Tintype, also called ferrotype, positive photograph produced by applying a collodion-nitrocellulose solution to a thin, black-enameled metal plate immediately before exposure. The tintype, introduced in the mid-19th century, was essentially a variation on the ambrotype, which was a unique image made on glass, instead of metal.

First and foremost, please be comfortable but know we are also expecting you to have some fun in the Wild West. Channel your inner Maynard Dixon, Edith Hamlin, or Ansel Adams and put together your best vintage 1900's attire. We have a Pinterest board to help inspire you- just ask for the link.
Wedding ceremony and reception is outdoors in August. We are expecting warm, summer breezes and clear skies but be prepared for anything. We will have light bites and cocktails after the ceremony leading up to the reception dinner. Please let us know if you have food allergies and/or meal preferences when you RSVP.
7:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Our wedding theme is 1900's western. Channel your inner Maynard Dixon, Edith Hamlin, or Ansel Adams. We have a Pinterest board to help inspire you.
Welcome to the Wedding Reception! We will have light bites and cocktails before a sit down dinner is served. Live music from Three Hat Trio. Hopefully, you've come dressed in your best western attire because this is also the time to schedule your tintype portrait for $100. Appointments are limited and come first come, first serve. Email Aimee at aimeekat79@gmail to make your appointment. What is a tintype photo? Also known as a melainotype or ferrotype, tintype is a photograph made by creating a direct positive on a thin sheet of metal coated with a dark lacquer or enamel and used as the support for the photographic emulsion. Tintypes enjoyed their widest use during the 1860s and 1870s, but lesser use of the medium persisted into the early 20th century and it has been revived as a novelty and fine art form in the 21st. The tintype photographer, Matt, is driving in for this special opportunity and because this is such a laborious process involving alchemy and sciene, it takes time.
9:30 am - 11:30 am
Casual, summer attire but we do plan on doing a group adventure after brunch into a nearby slot canyon afterwards so wear hiking attire and clothes that can get wet. Small backpacks ok but nothing too large.
A send-off brunch for those leaving Sunday. Let's have some breakfast treats and share our final hugs. We'll plan to leave around 12pm for a group slot canyon hike.
12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Outdoor hiking clothing that can get wet. Small backpacks encouraged.
Turn on your team spirit and let's all gather to check out a cool, slot canyon. No worries about driving, lines, shuttles or waiting, this hike is right in our backyard. We'll hike or ATV to the start of a nearby slot canyon. You'll be surrounded by swirling, red cliff walls. It is possible that there will be some standing water to wade through or climb over. Our best guess is 5-8 miles round trip. Bring water, sun hat and sunscreen. It'll be a memorable event so please come!
