One fateful Valentine’s Day evening in 2021 on a dating profile she didn’t even make herself, Nina encountered the profile of some guy named “Jeremy” and made the first move with a fun lil message. Sure, it took Jeremy an entire week to reply, but after a few quick-witted messages back and forth, the game was afoot! A few days passed by and we decided it was time to meet in person - over FaceTime, because… pandemic. During that initial “phone screen” we learned that we had a few things in common - a love for traveling, doggo’s, laughing at just about anything, and gooood good music. We decided then and there that we would start sending each other a new song every day that we loved. After a bunch of texting, and another FaceTime or two, we decided to kick it up a notch - brace yourselves - to meet up and go for a walk together. With masks. Maintaining a respectable social distance. That’s all we could really do! We must have walked and talked over a hundred miles together during our first few months dating. Come the summer we made it official: we became boyfriend and girlfriend, stalwart concert buddies, wedding plus one’s, and each other’s dedicated resident silly goose. We met each other’s friends and families, travelled to our favorite places, “Like” turned into “Love”, and here we are - here we are. Still laughing our faces off, growing together, and building a life we’re proud of. On May 10th 2026, we’re celebrating this thing - all of us, together under one roof.
