Aimee is one of Sarah’s closest friends and chosen sister. They met many years ago in the dance studio, where countless classes and rehearsals quickly turned into a lifelong friendship. From sharing laughs between classes to standing by each other through so many meaningful moments, Aimee has always been there. From the very beginning, she felt less like a friend and more like a sister—so much so that people still think they actually are. Aimee’s calm presence, kind heart, and fun-loving spirit make her such a joy to be around, and Sarah can’t imagine celebrating this special day without her by her side.

Best Man

Ethan and Adam met as randomly assigned roommates in Adam's junior year of undergraduate. The two originally connected over a shared love of Super Smash Brothers Melee-often commandeering the tiny living room CRT for several hour long tournaments amongst the roommates (shout out Aamir Ali). Since those days, Ethan has joined Adam on many spontaneous adventures, from successful music festivals to failed music festivals, from weekend trips to Europe to week-long board game binge staycations in a cabin.

Nikki Wooten

Maid of Honor

Nikki is Sarah’s cousin and built-in best friend, who has been part of her life since day one. She keeps Sarah laughing through everything—whether it’s real life moments or the constant stream of memes and videos they send back and forth. She’s also one of the very few people who can truly keep up with Sarah’s Harry Potter obsession. From growing up together to standing beside her on her wedding day, Sarah feels incredibly lucky to have Nikki as her maid of honor.

Travis Curry

Best Man

Travis is one of Adam's oldest and closest friends. After meeting in middle school, they initially formed a friendship largely based on getting in trouble in art class and being really bad at hacky sack. In high school they formed a close-knit inseparable friend group. Although distance has largely kept them apart in adulthood, Travis has always been Adam's most trusted and valued source of honest feedback, support, and advice while navigating many of the complex challenges of life.

Hannah Bartkiewicz

Hannah is Sarah’s baby cousin and built-in sister, someone she has always admired for her adventurous spirit and kind heart. She brings joy and laughter wherever she goes, and Sarah treasures the time they spend reminiscing about past adventures and dreaming up future travels—especially when it includes finding the cutest little coffee shops along the way. Whether they’re bonding over a shared love of reading or coffee, time with Hannah is always special. Sarah is incredibly grateful to have her standing by her side as she celebrates this unforgettable day.

Chris Johnson

Groomsman

Chris holds the distinct honor of being Adam's longest friendship, dating back to third grade. Throughout elementary, middle, and high school, there was not a soul that shared more classes with Adam than did Chris. In fact, for the entirety of junior year of high school, the two were darn near joined at the hip with an identical schedule. The two share passions for getting in trouble in Latin class, and playing every single Borderlands game that Gearbox produces.

Olivia and Sarah were joined at the hip throughout middle school and high school, earning the nickname “White Chocolate.” Most of their time was spent on the dance floor, whether at school or in the studio, making countless memories along the way. Olivia is truly Sarah’s chosen sister, and she is so grateful to have her back in her life and standing by her side on such a special day.

Kyle Haines

Groomsman

Kyle and Adam met on a camping trip in high school. In the years since then, the two have been wellsprings of knowledge and support for each other, consistently challenging each other to learn, grow, and improve in innumerable ways, including but not limited to: shockingly detailed Cessna-based flight lessons through Microsoft Flight Simulator, crash courses in nuclear reactor theory, or daily reminders to hit the gym and not be fat.

Zoe Tobin

Bridesmaid

Zoe and Sarah met through the Oak Ridge Civic Ballet Association and later worked together at the studio, where their friendship really took shape. Between late nights at the studio and long days at competition, they grew close and made memories that Sarah wouldn’t trade for anything. Zoe’s patience and kindness have always been a constant, and she has a way of making everyone around her feel comfortable and cared for. Along with all the dance memories, the two also bonded over their shared love for dogs. Sarah is so happy to have Zoe by her side on her wedding day.

Andrew Conant

Groomsman

Andrew and Adam met in 2020 as coworkers with adjacent offices. Initially bonding over a love of complex board games, the two also share overlapping musical tastes and a love of live music, concerts, and music festivals. Andrew has been one of Adam’s closest friends in the literal geographic sense ever since.
