Norris Dam State Park Historic CCC Cabins

We have reserved all 20 cabins in this section of Norris Dam State Park to provide accommodations for as many of you as possible! These are two night reservations for Friday Oct 9th and Saturday Oct 10th. We have already assigned cabins and will let you know if this is where you are staying.

Fairfield by Marriott Inn and Suites

We secured a hotel block conveniently located 12 minutes from the wedding venue. You can use the link to secure your room and let them know you are with the Drescher Wedding. The cutoff date is September 15, 2026. After this date, you will have to book through their website and pay the normal rate for that room.

Flight

McGee Tyson (TYS) Airport

TYS is the airport serving the Knoxville metropolitan area. It is about a 42 minute drive to the wedding venue and cabins, or a 35 minute drive to the Fairfield by Marriott Inn and Suites. If you are flying into Knoxville we would recommend renting a car at TYS airport. Here is a link to the list of rental car companies available at TYS.

Norris Dam East and West Campgrounds

For the more adventurous type, there is a campground available with tent sites and full hook up sites. We are not specifically reserving any of these but there should be plenty available for you to reserve sufficiently far in advance. The East Side Campground is the one closest to the venue.

Norris Dam State Park Cabins 21-30

In addition to the Historic Cabins, there is another group of Standard cabins (#'s 21-30) nearby in a different section of the state park. These are larger 3 bedroom cabins. We are not reserving any of these ahead of time, but they are available if you would like to stay in a cabin in the state park but won't be in one of the Historic Cabins we've pre-allocated. If you'd like one of these cabins we recommend reserving them ASAP as fall is busy season in the state parks. Note: the cabins require a two night minimum reservation.
