FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 31st, 2026 to ensure we can accommodate everyone comfortably.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The amphitheater will be open to guests beginning at 4:30 pm. Please arrive with enough time to be seated for the ceremony at 5:00 pm.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding will have a cocktail attire dress code. Gentlemen, please feel free to wear a suit or dress shirt. Ladies, a cocktail dress or dressy seperates are great. For this time of year, we’d also recommend a jacket (and ladies, flat heels or wedges will be best for the gravel!)

Question

Is there parking for the venue?

Answer

Yes. There is a medium-sized parking lot next to the Tea Room to accommodate guests who are driving. If you are staying in one of the cabins, each cabin has enough parking for two vehicles. There is additional parking at Shelter 1 and Shelter 2 down the street, if needed.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We would love to celebrate with everyone but our venue has a limited amount of space, therefore we are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your children, but due to space restrictions, we cannot accommodate guests under age 18 on our wedding day.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We’ll be celebrating all weekend long and would love for you to join us! On Friday, October 9th, we’ll kick off the festivities with a Welcome Event at Clinch River Brewing from 6:00–9:00 PM. On Saturday, October 10th, the celebration continues with an After Party at the cabins following the reception for anyone who wants to keep the party going. On Sunday, October 11th, we’ll wrap up the weekend with a Farewell Breakfast outside the Historic Cottage beginning at 8:00 AM for those who are still around. Please visit our Events page for additional details.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our afternoon ceremony will be outdoors in the amphitheater, while cocktail hour and the reception will take place indoors across the street at the Tea Room. Guests will walk to the amphitheater on a paved pathway, but will need to step on gravel briefly to take their seats. For that reason, stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended.

Question

If I'm staying in a cabin, when can I check in and receive the keys?

Answer

We will have someone stationed at the Historic Cottage to distribute keys and give directions to your cabin. Keys will be available starting at 3:00 until 5:00 on Friday, October 9th. After 5:00, you will be able to pick up your keys at the Welcome Event at Clinch River Brewing starting at 6:00.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have rented all 20 CCC cabins next to the venue and have secured a room block at the Fairfield Inn by Marriott about 12 minutes away from the venue. Check out our Travel Page for more info.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will not be providing guest transportation throughout the wedding weekend. Our ceremony and reception will take place in the park where we reserved the historic cabins and are within walking distance. The hotel is a 12 minute drive and easily accessible via ride-share service if needed. Our wedding welcome party location is a one mile drive from the venue and also easily accessible via ride-share service.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

When you RSVP, we have included a section where you can let us know if you have any allergies or special requests. We will try our best to accommodate everyone.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception.

Question

Can I take pictures and video during the ceremony?

Answer

We’re having an unplugged ceremony, so we kindly ask guests to keep phones and cameras tucked away until after the ceremony. Thank you!

Question

Can I post photos on social media?

Answer

Yes! Please tag us and use our hashtag: #CampDrescher. We will also have a QR code for you to upload all your pictures of the wedding so we can see them too!

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

You’ll find our full registry linked on the Registry page—easy peasy.

Question

Do I have to bring a gift?

Answer

Nope! Your presence is truly the best gift. There will be a table at the reception for cards and gifts. If you'd like to give something, we’re grateful—but it’s totally optional.

Question

Where will wedding updates be posted?

Answer

Additional updates or changes that need your attention will appear on our wedding website homepage.

Question

What's the best way to contact you if I have additional questions?

Answer
