The "M" Hiking Trail

Downtown Missoula

Walk the streets of downtown Missoula, walk down to the river and see if there is people surfing the Brennan’s Wave. Explore local shops or get some food or drinks at many of the restaurants and bars downtown.

Glen's Cafe

Another iconic filming location in Yellowstone, it’s filled with Yellowstone memorabilia. Grab an iconic Salisbury steak or homemade pie.

Chief Joseph Ranch

125 Appaloosa Trail, Darby, MT 59829

Aka the “Dutton Ranch”, not to far of a drive south of Missoula if you wanted to see the location where Yellowstone was filmed. They do not offer tours but you can catch a glimpse from the highway (just do it safely). The trip down has amazing views of the bitterroot mountains and river.

South of Missoula, this is one of Morgan and Adams favorite hiking spots.

Stay awhile, visit Adams favorite National Park that’s only 2.5 hours away. Totally worth it.

A little bit further from Missoula, but offers amazing views of wildlife and geysers.
