Kiera and I both joined the Cabinet Office in 2015 to work on an ill-fated attempt to reform the House of Lords. After a period of low-key antagonism trying to bag the window seat in the (non-air conditioned) office, we kicked off what is now 6 years of being together with a romantic cinema dates (Goodfellas at Screen on the Green) and fine dining experiences (Fiorentina pizza). Over these years we've enjoyed travelling and having new adventures. Kiera can now boast of having been bitten by mosquitos in dozens of countries. But the adventure we're most excited about is the one that will hopefully be shared with you - getting married and spending the rest of our lives together.
