In the mid-80s, Adam and his friends founded a fraternity they called The House of Fun at 111 1/2 Haley Street in downtown Santa Barbara. What started as a party turned into a family of brothers and sisters who cared about each other and protected one another. 35 years later, they reunited to celebrate a truly important part of their lives. It was at this reunion that The House of Fun family introduced Adam to Kati. The chemistry was immediate and undeniable. Love at first sight. Two chippy peas in a far-out pod! Covid hit soon thereafter and the new couple hunkered down in Stinson Beach. In blissful seclusion, the couple fell deeply in love. They introduced each other to their families and the love multiplied. Friendships renewed and new ones founded as the two introduced each other to their circle of friends. It became clear that the couple should spend the rest of their lives together. So, on Christmas Morning, 2021 … Adam (sporting a Santa inspired beard) feigned interest in going for a walk on the beach. As they walked down the path to Kiraly beach, Kati questioned whether the tide was too high. “We will check it out when we get to the beach” Adam reassured her. When they made it, Adam had her sit down on a sand ledge created by the tide, went to one knee, professed his undying love for Kati, and asked her to marry him. She said yes and has never stopped admiring the ring he had custom-made for her. We are thankful and grateful for the love, happiness, and support you all have bestowed upon us. We are honored to share this celebration of love with you!
