Below are your best airport choices to get to and from Asheville. We highly recommend reaching out to others to share travel costs and consider renting a car for the weekend, too!

Wedding Party

The closest airport to us is the Asheville Regional Airport (AVL). It is 20 minutes away from downtown and very easy to navigate!

Asheville Regional Airport

The second closest airport to Asheville is located in South Carolina. The Greenville Spartanburg Airport (GSP) is about 45 minutes away from downtown Asheville. It also has a beautiful outdoor corridor if you end up waiting on a flight or bags!

The Charlotte Douglass International Airport (CLT) is the third-closest airport to Asheville. While it may have more flight options and be on the cheaper side, please keep in mind it is a hefty 2 hour drive from Asheville, and does not offer shuttles. You will definitely need to a rent a car if flying in and out of Charlotte. However, if you have the time or feel like exploring more of North Carolina, Charlotte has some great food and attractions if you want to make a day of it!
