IS THERE TRANSIT TO AND FROM THE EVENTS?

Answer

Yes, we will have shuttle vans/buses to both the Saturday and Sunday night events. Pick up and drop off with be from Wagner Park in the center of town. On Saturday there is very limited parking and its just a short walk from town. If you'd rather use your own transport look to uber/lyft, taxis and free hotel shuttles (limelight, W, St Regis) to get to and from. On Sunday night we have shuttles making earlier returns.

COVID

Answer

We canceled our wedding 2 years ago due to covid and when we began planning this time around we certainly hoped we would all be past it. Since we aren’t there quite yet, and we want everyone (especially those attending who are immunocompromised) to be safe and healthy during and after the wedding, we ask that you please test on Friday before the events begin, and you will find a test(s) in your gift bag that we ask you please use before the Sunday wedding. Since we really want you to make it to our wedding, we would also kindly suggest you try to be careful and mask when possible in the week leading up to your departure.

ARE KIDS INVITED?

We love your kids—we really do. Kids are welcome at the Western BBQ Party on Saturday evening but we want our wedding night to be your night off! If your kids make the trip to Aspen (and we hope they do), our local Aspen friends are going to help ensure we have a handful of experienced babysitters to make that a reality.

How long should we stay in Aspen?

Answer

I'll promise that once you're there, you will wish you'd stayed longer. We will be in Aspen well before and after the wedding and know that many others who are too!

Do I need a rental car?

Answer

The answer is likely, no. Most things to do in Aspen are walkable or accessed easily by the amazing public transit in the city that is used by everyone in town. That said, if you are flying into Denver you certainly will need a car, and if you're planning to venture outside of Aspen, it might come in handy.

What will the weather be like in Aspen?

Answer

Warm sunny days and evenings that cool down quite a bit. Saturday evening will be outdoors and end before it gets too chilly, and Sunday dinner and dancing will be inside after an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour. But it is the mountains and the weather can change in a moments notice, try to be prepared with a layer.

Admittedly we could have held the ceremony on the Saturday night but flights were so much cheaper departing on Monday, and this way we can host 3 nights of events with our family and friends.
