The bride & groom will be landing in Cancun Thursday 11/06 around 2:30pm. We will need to meet with our wedding staff once we arrive and plan to catch up with everyone and say hello during the happy hour on Friday 11/07!
Celebrate with us the night before our big day with drinks and appetizers! Attire is resort wear, feel free to dress up or remain casual. Check out our Pinterest board for inspiration: https://pin.it/6x3gqAOsC I had originally planned to do a white theme for this event, but learned the resort has a white party one night a week. So go ahead and pack a white outfit, and check the calendar for the white night, but for this event you can wear any color... please avoid wearing white or cream dresses.
We're delighted to celebrate our special day with you in the Mexico sun, and we recommend semi-formal attire. Please no hawaiian shirts, shorts, flip-flops or jeans. Take a look at our Pinterest board for ideas: https://pin.it/4KDS37Vwf
In lieu of a formal cocktail hour, we invite you to grab a drink in the A/C or stop by your room to freshen up. We understand the heat in Mexico may be intense, so if you would prefer to change into a lighter material, flats etc. before the reception, you are welcome to do so. We just ask you try to remain within the semi-formal vibes as we will have photographers and videographers present for the reception.
As a gift to our guests, we have booked a private catamaran to snorkel and celebrate Sunday after the wedding. You will need to be ready to leave in the lobby by 11am, we will be leaving promptly and will not be waiting on anyone. We will sail from 12-4pm and should get back to the resort around 5pm. Make sure to bring a towel and beach bag for personal items! There will be 2 restrooms on board, light snacks and open bar. We recommend eating a big breakfast/brunch before we leave.
For those traveling for our wedding, making the trip is a gift in itself and we please ask not to purchase any gifts! A registry is available for those who cannot attend and feel inclined to gift. Please refrain from bringing cards to the ceremony as it will be difficult to keep track of and could get lost in the shuffle.
