As we embark on this journey towards our destination wedding, we wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude for your love and support. We understand that not everyone may be able to join us for this special celebration, and we want you to know that it's completely okay. We recognize that distance, timing, and various commitments may make it challenging for some of you to attend, and we respect and understand any decision you make. While we would love to have each and every one of you by our side, we also want you to prioritize what's best for you. Your thoughts, blessings, and well-wishes mean the world to us, and we carry them with us as we exchange our vows in Mexico. To those planning to attend, we cant express how excited and grateful we are to be able to spend this time with you. We can't imagine a better way to celebrate our love than to spend it with our closest friends and family in paradise. We plan to host a small celebration in northern Virginia following the wedding to include those unable to travel and will provide additional details as we get closer. Love, Ali + Chris
Chris and Ali met in the fall of 2017 during their time at Old Dominion University. It was Halloween weekend and the two found themselves at the local college bar, both dressed in costume. Chris, dressed as Napoleon Dynamite (rollerblades and all) approached Ali in her old middle school cheer uniform and made his move. Chris wasn't prepared for Ali to bite so when she did, he had no words, turned around and walked the other way. Later that week, he tracked down her phone number and persistently asked her to a Halloween Date Party. After a few no's, he finally got a yes and they agreed to dress up as Forrest Gump and Jenny. From that night on they have been inseparable since. Please join us in celebrating the love of a lifetime in paradise.
