Mysterious Galaxy is an independent bookstore that caters to ALL ages, where our bride works as a social media content creator, and is well loved and known under the name Bookseller Kai! Not only is Mysterious Galaxy known for their exquisite selection of books, but also their personalized recommendations by each bookseller, their participation at large events such as San Diego Comic Con, and their active social media presence on Threads and Instagram.
Whaley House Museum
Behold, the bride and groom's favorite SPOOKY MUSEUM! Kristen and Aaron have been to the Whaley House on multiple occasions, and were always fascinated by the history of Old Town, as well as the interesting ghost stories of the Whaley family.
Balboa Park Visitors Center
A go-to date spot for our bride and groom, and the place where they took their first round of engagement photos! There is plenty to do in San Diego's most beautiful park, which includes the San Diego Natural History Museum (a favorite of our happy couple), the San Diego Zoo, and the Seven Bridges Walk (for those who love to get their blood pumping)!
La Jolla Tide Pools
This one's for our beach lovers. La Jolla Cove is the perfect place to go swimming and snorkeling in San Diego (the bride has gone snorkeling with leopard sharks in these waters), and you may very well run into a sea lion or two when walking the shores!
