Maid of Honor
Emma Kate is my annoying little sister turned best friend. She is the person I go to for everything, and the person I shamelessly sing the High School Musical soundtrack with at the top of my lungs on road trips. She's the first person I told when we got engaged, and she's the first person I thought of when choosing a Maid of Honor. I'm so excited to have her standing next to me as I marry the man of my dreams!
Best Man
Domo & Nick met through the Ice Dogs over 10 years ago. They're bench buddies in the locker rooms, and drinking buddies after games. From our Packer tailgates to weekend golf games and long weekends away, Domo is a huge part of our life and definitely keeps it interesting!
Matron of Honor
Over a decade of friendship for Lo & Abs! We met at Freshman Orientation at Freedom High School after I moved to VA, and were inseparable for 4 years. Years have gone by and I've moved 1000 miles away, and she's still one of my best friends!
Groomsman
Luke is Nick's little brother. Growing up they would fight all the time, but when Nick left for college they actually got a lot closer and became friends. Now, Luke is back in Appleton and Nick considers his little brother to be one of his best friends (awwww)!
Bridesmaid
I was a junior in HS and coaching youth cheerleading with her mother, and Kristina came to help one day. Lauren & I adopted her into our friendship early her freshman year, and our trio was formed! 10 years later she's still the person I call when I need a good 2 hour chat with one of my best friends!
Groomsman
Cline and Nick met through the Ice Dogs only 3 seasons ago, but he became fast friends with both of us! He's Nick's golf partner on the weekends, and our sometimes random dinner guest when he shows up on his "cool" roller blades!
Bridesmaid
I met Rebekah while bartending at Vince Lombardi's Steakhouse. We became fast friends who like to go get drinks & half apps after work, try new restaurants around the Valley, and spend all day in Door County going to every. single. winery.
Groomsman
Jeremy & Nick met at St. Norbert's College where they both played hockey! After graduation, Jer decided to stick around the Fox Valley and started to play for the Ice Dogs with Nick! They also coach for Appleton United together!
Bridesmaid
I met Sarah when she started dating our old roommate Hughes. She joined the hockey wife crew, and we've had so much fun these past couple years going to games, Eagle River, and having girls' nights drinking all the wine!
Usher
Hughes and Nick have played hockey together for the Ice Dogs for years now, but he was also our roommate for 4 years! Other than playing hockey together, they are also both coaches for Appleton United!
Bridesmaid
Emily's husband, Erik, and Nick have been besties forever! Erik & Emily got introduced when we were all at Pond Hockey Nationals in Eagle River, and her and I have been friends since! They moved back to the Fox Valley a couple years ago, and we've had all the dog mom dates since!
Groomsman
Erik & Nick have been besties since they were 13 years old. They grew up playing hockey together and still play together as almost 30 year olds! Erik was also Nick's roommate for a couple years after college.
Bridesmaid
Although we haven't known each other very long, Abbie has quickly become one of my best friends! Earlier this year, she started dating Nick's brother, Luke, and the four of us seem to always be together now! After spending almost every weekend together going to breweries, boating at the lake, and drinking way too much wine - our Abby/Abbie duo was formed!
Groomsman
Andy & Nick have also played hockey together for about 10 years. Nick sits between Andy & Domo in the locker room and drink lots of beer after every game, and he & his wife are some of our travel buddies for hockey!
Usher
LaBarge is yet another one of our hockey friends! He & Nick have played hockey for 10 years together on the Ice Dogs and for their Sunday night men's league. They're locker room buds and spend hours (literally) after games cooling down and drinking beer.
Usher
Nick & Kyle have coached in the Appleton United program together for 10 years now! Kyle has become a part of Nick's "hockey family", and makes the trip to Eagle River for Pond Hockey every winter!
Flower Girl
Siibi refers to us as "Uncle Janny" and "Miss Abby-gale". She's Domo's daughter, and we've known her since birth. It's been fun watching her grow over the years, and I can't wait to have her lead the way down the aisle.
Ring Bearer
Bodhi is Rebekah's son, making Abby his "cool aunt" - you know, the non-biological aunt who gets to bring the fun. I was there the night he was born, and it's been a blast watching my little man grow.
