Our Story
Our story began far away in Mongolia when one of Monde's friends, Husezo, invited him to go to seminary at Baylor University. Shortly after, Monde made the decision to buy a plane ticket to Texas and arrived in Waco in 2024. Upon arrival, Monde and Husezo noticed a need for support and community within the international grad student population at Baylor and began meeting that need in any way possible (pickleball included).
While Monde was in Waco, he crossed paths with Abby during a prayer meeting at Acts Church. The meeting was brief, but Husezo invited Abby to join the international support team, and the rest was history. While working together to support others, Monde and Abby realized that although they were from different countries, their similarities were worth more than their differences, and they quickly decided to take a chance on each other. Now, they understand it was God's plan drawing them together to demonstrate His love and unity with ALL the body of Christ.
