Our Story

Our second date and first photo together!

We fell fast over food...

and sunset hikes....

and our love for beaches.

We celebrated our birthdays together for the first time (J - Nov 9 / A - Nov 10) and with plenty of cheesecake!

And then our first Christmas in the Bay....

where Abby was so happy to find Chinese hot pot at 海底捞 (Haidi Lao).

and Jonathan couldn't wait to show Abby around Hakone Gardens!

We spent many months apart, but thank goodness for Facetime and Zoom!

We spent time in Cayucos...

and ate great seafood! Did we mention we enjoy food?

We biked through Venice Beach...

explored Joshua Tree...

discovered art at the Huntington Library...

and made our own masterpieces with a little help from some good wine!

Jonathan moved to Memphis and Abby couldn't wait to visit.

We boogied on Beale...

and spent time by the lake.

Jonathan made it a point to workout, and Abby joined occasionally...

as long as he came for a walk afterwards!

We made it to Las Vegas to celebrate Abby's sister's wedding.

and managed to find the best cocktail bar in town, off the Strip.

Jonathan matched in St. Louis for residency! We had to celebrate and relax in Maui...

but Jonathan had an important question to ask. Abby couldn't wait to say yes!

We enjoyed the rest of our time with more beach and more hikes. :)

While we had to eventually leave the island...

we kept the party going as dapper wedding guests.

Jonathan made a final trip to California, and we went hiking at Big Bear...

then Abby flew to St. Louis to help Jonathan settle in...

and watch fireworks under the arch.

More months of long distance followed.

Abby moved to St. Louis in October, just in time for all the big things... Halloween...

and a White Christmas!
