Where should I stay?

Answer

You are more than welcome to research any hotels or Air Bnbs in the Paso Robles or San Luis Obispo area. We have reserved a wedding block at the Carlton Hotel in Atascadero. This hotel is very close to both our welcome event (held on the 23rd) and the wedding ceremony and reception (held on the 24th)! To book, use the discount code: wheelercharlu

What do I do if I enter the hotel discount code and no rooms appear (or only a suite option appears)?

Answer

The hotel only releases a block of rooms to us at a time. If you enter the code and do not see any viable options for you, please contact Abby or Jonathan to let us know, and we will try to get another block added.

Are there two events to attend?

Answer

Yes! The wedding ceremony and reception will be held at Ella's Vineyard in Creston on Saturday, June 24, 2023. The Charlus and Wheelers would also like to invite all guests to attend a special welcome event held at Templeton Tennis Ranch in Templeton on Friday, June 23, 2023. Please see our events page for more details.

What will parking be like at the wedding?

Answer

Parking is available but somewhat limited. Please travel to the wedding site with those in your party.

What time will the wedding begin?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm. Please arrive between 3:30 and 3:50 so that you can be shuttled from the parking lot to the ceremony site.

Are kids invited to the wedding?

With the exception of immediate family, we're inviting you for a kid-free evening at our wedding!

Weather and dress

Answer

The weather is looking lovely for Saturday! It will be warm with some sharp sun at different points. We recommend sun glasses and a light jacket! It will get chilly once the sun goes down!
