In December of 2013, we were set up on a blind date by close friends who tricked us into thinking that was a good idea (you know who you are!). After surviving that first dinner and heading home for the holidays, Abigail proceeded to fall asleep on our next date. Somehow, we made it past that and many growing pains in our early twenties, and fell in love over our shared love for the outdoors, from backpacking and camping to skiing and exploring in the mountains. Most of our early dates were hikes or camping trips in California, and to come full circle, we got engaged in October of 2021 on our favorite hike in the Bay Area.

Along the way, Idaho, where Dillon had grown up going often, became a very special place to both of us. We spent time exploring the Sun Valley area with our pups Dixie and Coco, our friends, and our families whenever we could. In the fall of 2020, we took a chance and packed up our apartment in San Francisco to head to the mountains. For the next year we lived between a cabin in Victor, Idaho and our family's homes in Sun Valley. It was the best thing we ever did for our relationship (and our skiing skills!). We can't wait to get married in a place that has become so meaningful to us, and be able to share it with all of you! Get ready for mountain adventures, bonfires, great wine, amazing food, some serious music, and a lot of love. We are so grateful for all of the incredible people who have shaped our lives and supported our relationship, and if you are reading this, you are one of them. We couldn't be more excited to throw an epic party for all of you. Buckle up and see you there!
