We're getting married - Finally!

We met in the summer of 2016 at Clarkson—Abbi was doing research, and Christian (CJ) was working for IT before starting his internship at the Kraft plant. That fall, we reconnected at Delta Upsilon, where Abbi flirted with the bartender (CJ) for a Busch Light. Soon after, Christian asked Abbi to hang out, and by Christmas break, we were officially dating. After Christian graduated in 2017, he started working in Ogdensburg while Abbi finished her degree. We were lucky to stay in the same town until Abbi graduated, growing together through school and into adulthood. We managed a year of long distance before moving into our first rental home in Fairport in March 2020—right before the world shut down. In that strange but special time, we cooked, hiked, kayaked, and spent cozy evenings at home with our cats, Lilly and Maude. When our lease ended in 2022, we bought our first home in Farmington, and the adventures continued! In 2023, we planned a dream trip to England and Ireland. But the real surprise came on Valentine’s Day, when Christian proposed in our living room using Abbi’s grandmother’s ring—turns out, it was even better than a KitchenAid. Now, after eight wonderful years, we’re making it official on October 19, 2025. Thank you for being part of our journey—we can't wait to celebrate this next chapter with you.
