In the bustling corridors of the Texas Academy of Math and Science, fondly known as TAMS, Abhi and Antonio, two self-proclaimed nerds with a shared passion for both logic and imagination, first crossed paths. Their story began with a memorable first concert together—Young the Giant. Amidst the electrifying music and newfound camaraderie, they connected in a way that set the stage for everything that followed. That night was the beginning of a deep bond that would evolve over the years. As their friendship deepened, they navigated high school and college side by side, and after some playful flirting, their relationship blossomed into a romance that extended far beyond their shared interests. The next eight years were a whirlwind of love, laughter, and spontaneous adventures. Antonio, driven by dreams of success, followed Abhi from Fort Worth to Nashville and eventually to NYC, where his aspiration to become a 6'5" finance guru with blue eyes (cue laughter) came to fruition. Their adventures also took them beyond U.S. borders. In the last four years, they made it a tradition to explore the world together, traveling to eight countries and counting. The ultimate chapter of their journey, or rather the true beginning, unfolded in Kyoto, Japan. Amidst the serene beauty of ancient temples and tranquil gardens, Antonio orchestrated a proposal that was as magical as it was unforgettable. Surrounded by cherry blossoms and the echoes of their shared laughter (and tears), they embarked on a new chapter in a place that felt like a dream come true. They want to extend their gratitude to their family and friends who have shared these lasting memories with them. Here’s to many more adventures and the beautiful journey that lies ahead!
