How he knows the groom: "Gerard is my younger cousin of Kansas City, MO, via his father." Favorite memory: "Me, Gerard, and Abby planned a trip to go to Jamaica after Gerard’s graduation. The trip was my idea, so I was responsible for the planning and activities. As usual, I somehow and someway managed to put this off until the last week before we arrived to finalize where we were going to stay and what we were going to do while there. I miraculously planned one of the best trips that all of us has ever experienced, while under the spell of procrastination to the highest level. The rest was history."

How she knows the bride: Natalie is Abby's younger sister (they are 5 years apart in age!) Favorite Memory: “One of my favorite and earlier memories with my sister was when she dressed up as my favorite princess ever, Belle, for my 5th birthday and had a whole tea party with me in character. I was so honored such a popular princess would come to visit me in the middle of Lee’s summit, missouri, that I became even more obsessed with her. so much to the point that I would dress up as Belle and make Abby be the beast, further proving that she was the best big sis.”

How he knows the groom: "I know Gerard from high school. We met on the football team our freshmen year and I didn’t like that guy at first because he would mess with me. I was contemplating fighting him at one point. I didn’t do it and over time we became good friends." Favorite Memory: "My favorite times has us been working out. Always pushing each other to be better. Always felt like we were always trying to one up each other respectfully."

How she knows the bride: Blair and Abby are cousins! They are 1 month apart in age so the two grew up very close! Favorite Memory: “Going on a mission trip to Haiti together and being able to do something we both love together.”

How he knows the groom: "I met Gerard at St.Regis in 6th grade." Favorite memory: "Nothing to specific but just making moves and getting into shenanigans in the summer."

How she knows the bride: Presley and Abby have known each other since they were 12 years old and they were softball teammates! They played at different colleges but remained close friends. Favorite Memory: "All of our many years of growing up playing softball together or just seeing each other around the ball field and hanging out."

How he knows the groom: John is Abby's brother! Favorite Memory: "Always playing ping pong with Gerard whenever we hang out with the family. Especially the first time he beat me and he went around hugging everyone in the family including the dog after the game."

How she knows the bride: Maddie and Abby went to nursing school together! They were dorm neighbors sophomore year and then started nursing school together in the fall of 2019 and have been close since! Favorite Memory: "all of the nights where would would drink wine and cry about nursing school" (I promise it was more fun than it sounds thanks to the wine lol)

How he knows the groom: "I first met G in undergrad at MO state because we shared a lot of similar classes. However, it wasn’t until PT school where we started to really get to know each-other and probably spent way to much time together. Whether that time was spending countless hours “studying”, hooping on any basketball court we could find, shenanigans in springy, and spending 6 weeks together in a space less than an 800 sq ft apartment in Chico California with Bret Jaegers." Favorite memory: "There are countless stories I could tell, so please ask me at the wedding for details… however one of my fondest memories of G is a small one that demonstrates care, compassion, and understanding. One night at Inner Circle, G and I had a conversation about the adversity of growing up as minorities. This was the first time I felt heard, and genuine care for the story I had to tell. That moment helped build our relationship as friends, and my confidence that I continue to have because of that conversation."

How she knows the bride: Lexi and Abby used to play softball together and have known each other since they were in the 4th grade! Favorite Memory: “When I think of any memory with Abby, it will always involve a thunderous laugh shared between us both. From day 1 we have always matched each others energy and humor, so much so our families believe we speak our own language! I could write a book of all of our times together and how much I cherish our great friendship. From the time we took a quick silly Snapchat selfie with it somehow only showing 1 tooth on Abby, the title “1 tooth Abby” stuck forever, to the time she flew across the country after working 3 12 hour shifts in the ER to help me in a time of need, I know I have a friend for life. I am so grateful she has found her One, Gerard. I look forward to watching all of the memories and milestones they will share together!”
