Out of town guests will want to fly into Portland International Airport (PDX). It is an approximately 1 hour drive from Portland to Hood River, the closest city to our venue.

Tips for booking lodging

We highly recommend booking your lodging early because summer in the Columbia River Gorge is a high traffic season, especially over the holiday weekend. Many of the options listed below allow cancelation up to a month in advance.

This hotel is on the Washington side of the Columbia River and requires a toll to use the Hood River Bridge to travel back and forth from Washington to Oregon. Information about the toll is listed below. Reservations are open for booking now.

Society Hotel is located on the Washington side of the Columbia River east of White Salmon. They offer a variety of options including rooms and cabins. Standard queens and king rooms may be released in the Spring 2026.

Travel Note

Local Travel

To truly explore what Hood River and the Columbia River Gorge have to offer we recommend renting a car to be able to travel between towns, go on hikes, etc. The Columbia River separates Oregon and Washington; however, the Hood River Bridge allows you to travel between the two states. The bridge toll is $3.50 each way and processed electronically by the company BreezeBy.
