We are excited to celebrate with our friends and family and want to make decisions that will keep our guests safe. We strongly encourage our guests to get vaccinated; if you are eligible for the vaccine and have chosen not to receive it, we lovingly ask that you do not attend our wedding. We will have elderly relatives, pregnant women, and small children in attendance, and want to take every precaution to ensure the health and safety of our vaccinated and ineligible guests.
Memphis is currently under a mask mandate that "requires masks in all indoor public settings for people over the age of 2, regardless of vaccination status {except when eating or drinking}." While the ceremony and much of the reception is outside, please have your mask ready to enter the Botanic Gardens and Woodruff-Fontaine Carriage House.
Yes! There is plenty of parking for the ceremony. For the reception, there is paid street parking and free parking a block away. We highly encourage carpooling or taking an Uber.
The ceremony site is a 5-10 minute walk from the parking lot through the gardens. For our guests who do not feel comfortable making that walk, there will be a golf cart available for transportation. There will not be transportation from the ceremony to the reception site.
We recommend staying in one of the following neighborhoods: Downtown, Midtown, Cooper Young, Crosstown, Central Gardens, the Medical District, and Vollintine-Evergreen.
