San Gimignano is a 35 minute drive from the venue. We stayed here in 2023 and loved it! San Gimignano is a quaint medieval Tuscan town surrounded by great views and wineries which make it ideal for a day trip. We recommend the following spots - WINERIES & RESTAURANTS Il Colombaio di Santa Chiara - winery Fattoria San Donato - winery and pasta making classes Vernaccia di San Gimignano Wine Experience La Rocca - winery off the walking path of the town La Mandragola - nicer restaurant overlooking the Tuscan countryside Reservations recommended. This was our top restaurant while in San Gimignano! Olivieri Bistrot - casual Italian fare. Peruca - great local dinner spot.
Montepulciano is a 1.5 hour drive from the venue. We stayed here in 2025 and loved it! Montepulciano is a quaint hilltop Tuscan town known for their wine. We recommend the following spots - WINERIES & RESTAURANTS Gelato - Salamoia Gelateria Naturale Lunch - Podere Il Casale, La Schiaccia dell’Opio Dinner - Rosso Rubino Trattoria, Le Logge del Vignola, Porta Di Bacco, Osteria del Borgo Winery -De Ricci, Icario Winery, Salcheto, Gattavecchi Reservations are recommended, and often required, for all restaurants and wineries.
