Things To Do

The lodge itself has many onsite activities like canoes and kayaks to take on the lake, badminton & firepits for relaxing and roasting marshmallows.

Lake Bomoseen Lodge

Hopefully, they are still open during our wedding weekend! Lovely spot on the lake to eat, drink and see the beautiful Vermont scenery.

The Lake House Pub & Grille

Amazing breakfast along a beautiful foliage drive up towards Killington, also has a cute vermont giftshop and maple sugaring in house.

Maple Sugar & Vermont Spice

Great cafe with coffee, fresh-baked bread, treats, and breakfast sandwiches.

The Bakery

Quintessential quiet dirt road through Vermont fall foliage. You can drive this but it is also lovely to park and walk down and admire the trees and be in nature.

Wheelerville Road

Great for apple picking in a very old family-run Vermont apple orchard.

Mendon Mountain Orchards & Motel

Great way to see all of Vermont's foliage! Take a gondola to the peak and get a 360 degree view of the fall colors.

Killington Ski Area

Nice quick 2.2-mile hike with a beautiful view of Pico Mountain and foliage. It is a bit uphill one way, if you go for this definitely at least wear sneakers!
