Yes! It will be an Indian-American Fusion wedding, unlike any wedding you've ever attended! We hope to meld both of our backgrounds into a unique and fun experience for us and our family and friends to all experience and enjoy.
We plan on making this a very colorful wedding! Feel free to wear your typical wedding wear or you can add some flare with a more colorful outfit than you typically would..... think fall Jewel tones! If you have an Indian outfit you would like to wear those are definitely welcome but not required! Ideally women should not wear red as that is the bride's color. It is like wearing white to an American wedding.
The ceremony will be outside on a hilltop behind the resort so we will be able to enjoy the beautiful Vermont fall scenery. Please plan to wear comfortable walking shoes for the ceremony. It is a short walk but there is a bit of an incline to get to the top of the hill. It is a paved walkway. If needed there will be a golf cart to help bring people to the hilltop who need help.
Yes, there is plenty of parking on site at the resort.
The menu will be a combination of Indian and American cuisine. We hope you can try something you haven't tried before.
Of course! There will be a variety of songs that everyone will be able to dance to and enjoy.
We are asking that family and friends not bring tangible gifts. We already have a lot of stuff! We will be collecting "donations" though for our honeymoon fund on our registry. Feel free to contribute to that!
Please call Rebecca at 802-468-5251 to book your room at the lodge and mention you will be attending our wedding so you can be added to the block.
We wish we could invite everyone to the ceremony and reception but due to space limitations we are unable to. Our wedding venue space is small and intimate so we can share our special day with just our closest friends and family!
To allow all guests to enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our special day adults only except for two little guests that will be involved in our ceremony. We thank you for your understanding!
