Florence, Italy Airport (FLR)

There are many places to fly into in Italy, however, the Florence Airport (Amerigo Vespucci) is the closest, large airport to our venue. This airport is about an hour from Villa Cini. Other nearby airports include the airport of Galileo Galilei in Pisa, which is an hour and a half away and the Airport Leonardo da Vinci in Rome which is about two hours and a half from Villa Cini.

Poggio Cennina Resort

We recommend that guests stay at Poggio Cennina in Bucine, about 8 minutes from our venue, Villa Cini, where all of the week's wedding events will take place. Having guests in the same area will make transportation to and from the venue much easier. At this time we do not have a formal room block, but we are working on receiving a discount code from the resort specifically for our guests for that week! We will encourage guests to book directly through the resort using the link below, however at this time, it is too early to book for September 2027. We will update this page when bookings and the discount code are live. Staying here will also make it easier to coordinate carpools or group transportation for the wedding events. Of course, you are welcome to stay anywhere that works best for your travel plans, but we would love to have as many guests together as possible throughout the weekend! Please note, if you opt to stay at a venue other than this one, we will not be able to help provide any transportation for wedding week events.

Shuttle

Shuttle to Villa Cini

We will be providing shuttles for all of our guests to and from the Florence Airport and Villa Cini/Poggio Cennina. If you are not staying on site at Villa Cini or at our preferred off-site venue, Poggio Cennina, you will be responsible for your own transportation to and from the airport, as well as wedding week events.
