This hotel, Villa Del Palmar Flamingos, has rooms at a lower cost than its sister hotel, Villa La Estancia. They are right next to each other! The main difference is that Villa Del Palmar Flamingos guests do not have access to Villa La Estancia property and their rooms are considered “less luxury”. See pictures on their website. Both hotels are great options! Villa Del Palmar Flamingos is also a time-share property, so if any staff tries to ask you about time-shares, just tell them you're not interested! We understand that everyone's plans look different so feel free to plan this holiday however you see best! Here are some of our recommendations: HOTEL RIU PALACE PACIFICO Adults only (18+), lively hotel with late night entertainment, all-inclusive plans only, located on the same street as our Villa hotel room block choices (just 2 hotels over), about 20 minutes from our wedding venue. IBEROSTAR SELECTION PLAYA MITA The biggest resort we've seen, full of activities for all ages, rooftop bar, nightly shows, all-inclusive plans only, and located in Punta Mita, about 25 minutes from our wedding venue. MARRIOTT PUERTO VALLARTA RESORT & SPA THE WESTIN RESORT & SPA, PUERTO VALLARTA Both of these (Marriott + Westin) are located in the Marina of Puerto Vallarta. Both offer modern rooms and beautiful pool resorts, with the Westin being the quieter hotel of the two. The Marina is near a river so crocodile sightings are sometimes found in their beaches, so we would just avoid swimming in their ocean for precaution! Located about 45 minutes from our wedding venue. SHERATON BUGANVILIAS RESORT & CONVENTION CENTER About a mile walk from the touristic Malecon Boardwalk in Puerto Vallarta, lively hotel with late night options, 2 pools, popular Sunday brunch, located about 60 minutes from our wedding venue. FOR TOP LUXURY Located in the more exclusive Punta Mita region, the following well known resorts provide the luxury you expect from these chains. All 3 are located about 25-30 minutes from our wedding venue. FOUR SEASONS RESORT PUNTA MITA THE ST.
