WHAT IS THE WEDDING DAY DRESS CODE? *Garden Formal*

Dress nicely! Feel free to incorporate spring colors, fun patterns, and/or breathable fabrics! The image above can help with any inspiration ;). The venue is on a garden lawn so if you are wearing heels, we recommend thicker heels or wedges!

Is there a dress code for the welcome party?

Answer

Beach semi-formal! This is a laidback evening to give us all a chance to mingle and greet each other before the big wedding day! Dress up or dress down, up to you!

WHAT TIME DOES THE WEDDING START?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 5pm. If you are not using our complimentary shuttles, we kindly ask you to arrive 15-20 minutes early to mingle with other guests before the “I do’s!”

HOW CAN I GET TO THE VENUE?

Answer

We are providing complimentary shuttles to and from the wedding venue, from Villa La Estancia Beach Resort & Spa, Riviera Nayarit at 4:00pm on the day of the wedding. Alternatively, you can call a cab from the hotel you are staying at if you're staying elsewhere. We do not recommend that you drive yourself, especially if you plan to drink, as there are many potholes that would be hard to see at night.

CAN I USE THE COMPLIMENTARY SHUTTLES IF I CHOOSE TO STAY ELSEWHERE?

Answer

Yes! You would just need to tell the bride or groom either on the RSVP tab or over the phone, so that we can add you to the hotel's security list. The hotel is in a gated community so you MUST let us know with enough time to communicate the list of non-hotel-guest names to the hotel. Please plan to be in the lobby of Villa La Estancia Beach Resort & Spa, Riviera Nayarit, at 4pm on Friday, February 14th if you plan to take the shuttles. The wedding venue is a 15 minute ride from our hotel.

WHAT’S THE VENUE LIKE?

Answer

The venue is outdoors in a privately owned garden lawn, overlooking the ocean. Ladies: block heals or wedges are recommended. Stilettos would simply sink into the soil!

CAN I TAKE PHOTOS AND VIDEOS DURING THE CEREMONY?

Answer

Absolutely! If you feel inclined to capture any moment, we would be honored and welcome your enthusiasm. We simply ask that you don't block our photographers and that your phones are turned to silent during the ceremony so that ringtones don't interrupt. Use your best judgement!

CAN I BRING A DATE?

Answer

All invited guests will be listed on the RSVP page as part of your party so please refer to your RSVP portal to see if you have a guest plus one. We thank you for understanding!
