Question

What should we wear?

Answer

Bailey, Colorado in late July is typically sunny and mild during the day, with daytime temperatures often in the 70-80s and cooler evenings that can dip into the 50s. Mountain weather can shift quickly, so layers are always a good idea. During the day: Feel free to dress comfortably. Casual, outdoorsy, or athletic clothing is great for daytime activities around camp. For the welcome party: We invite guests to dress neat casual — relaxed but put-together. Think a step above everyday wear without being formal. Comfortable, polished outfits that still feel easy are perfect. For the wedding ceremony: While we can’t wait to see you looking your best, our ceremony will take place outdoors in the mountains. We invite guests to dress thoughtfully for a summer wedding in a natural setting. Black tie isn’t necessary, and we encourage attire that feels celebratory, comfortable, and wedding-appropriate. (If this feels confusing to you, think semi-formal with summery colors.) As most events will take place outdoors on natural terrain, we recommend comfortable, stable footwear throughout the weekend. If you wear stilettos, you will regret it!

Question

Am I allowed to bring my child?

Answer

While we love all of your kiddos, we'd like to keep our wedding weekend adults only. We're looking into potential babysitting options in the local area and will update the site when we have more information.
