We're Getting Married!

Aaron and Mira’s journey began in 2015, thanks to a swipe right on Tinder. Aaron was a new analyst at a hedge fund, while Mira was working as a data manager at a fetal surgery clinic. Both were the first interns to be offered positions at their respective workplaces, and their passion for their careers in finance and medicine gave them a shared drive for success. Their first date was on June 6, 2015, watching the Champions League final at the Red Lion Tavern in Silverlake. What started as a casual meet-up quickly turned into something more. They discovered a mutual love for adventure, exploring LA’s neighborhoods, trying new restaurants, hiking, and, of course, watching soccer. Soon, Aaron and Mira became partners in exploring the world around them. From local hikes to weekend getaways in Big Sur, the Sequoias, Death Valley, Joshua Tree, and Coronado, their bond grew stronger with each adventure. But their love faced its biggest challenge when, two years into dating, Mira was accepted to medical school in Joplin, Missouri. Though the future was uncertain, they chose to stay committed to each other. Aaron helped Mira move across the country and, despite the distance, they stayed close- talking daily, sharing laughs, and visiting each other whenever they could. Even as the miles stretched between them - Mira doing her clinical rotations in Fort Myers, Florida, and Aaron in LA - their love only grew stronger. They got a taste of what life together would be like when they quarantined during COVID. In 2021, Aaron’s work relocated him to Dallas, and soon after, Mira began her residency back in Joplin. Now, they were just a 6-hour drive apart. Whenever they both had a free weekend, they traveled to spend it together. In 2024, after years of hard work and sacrifice, Aaron achieved his goal of becoming a managing director and Mira graduated from residency, achieving her dream of becoming an emergency medicine physician. Through all the challenges, distance, and career demands, their love has never wavered. Mira moved in with Aaron in Dallas, and together they adopted their beloved dog, Gaia, and began building a home. Now, with the support of their amazing families and friends, they’re ready to celebrate their next chapter. On their 10-year anniversary, Aaron and Mira will say “I do,” surrounded by the people they love most, as they continue their journey together.
