Hood River — how to get here

Hood River is conveniently located in the heart of the scenic Columbia River Gorge only 60 miles east of Portland. It is a beautiful drive with miles of gorgeous river views, passing the famous Multnomah Falls, Bridge of the Gods and Cascade Locks, with many scenic overlooks. We recommend flying into the Portland airport (PDX) and renting a car for the weekend. If you're coming from the Pacific Northwest area, we recommend driving out here!

Hood River — lay of the land

Most hotels are a 2-7 minute drive from these areas or a 30 minute walk. There is ample parking at most hotels, the waterfront, and downtown. Paid parking downtown.

This hotel is the oldest and most beloved vintage hotel in Hood River with updated historic rooms, great views, period style furnishings, beautiful art, and a relaxing vibe. It's located in downtown Hood River, and is walking distance from the Saturday "after party" at Whiskey Tango! We recommend if you want to be centrally located downtown & walking distance to restaurants.

Westcliff Lodge

This hotel — historically a motel, converted into modern rooms — is set on five acres and the grounds are filled with majestic pine trees, native wild flowers, and a picnic table viewpoint. It's walking distance from where the bride & groom are staying and walking distance for Sunday brunch! We recommend as a great place to crash for the weekend while staying close to the action. Please note: please use caution if walking the road in the evening. There are no street lights so it can very be dark.

This hotel is a newer property in Hood River with complimentary breakfast & an indoor pool. It's located halfway between western Hood River (where the bride & groom are staying) and the waterfront & downtown areas (still only a 2 min drive away from everywhere!). We recommend as an affordable option that's still centrally located!

The hotel is located on the waterfront and is just a few minute drive from downtown Hood River (restaurants & bars). We recommend for friends & family looking for a comfortable place with great views (the Riverside rooms offer premium comfort!).
