Loren is Kaitlyn's older sister. Her favorite memories with Loren were spent on the farm, playing in the creek by their house, singing parodies in the backyard, playing clarinet together, hiking, and traveling. The photo above was taken in 2022 when they were "under the Bridge of Sighs in a gondola, under Italian skies", just like in Little Women! Kaitlyn was so excited to be Loren's maid of honor and can't wait to have Loren as hers.

Tony and Alex have been friends for as long as they can remember, ever since their very first day of daycare. Some of Alex’s favorite memories with Tony come from the times they spent working out together and talking for hours on end, growing their friendship along the way. Alex knew Tony would be his best man way before Kaitlyn came along.

Sydney is Alex's sister. Kaitlyn's favorite memory with Sydney is the morning they went to get drinks at a coffee shop together and took a long walk on Main Street in Columbia, sharing how excited they were to become sisters-in-law. Sydney is an excellent baker!

Izzy and Kaitlyn have been friends since first grade, and they have been best friends ever since! They love going on drives together while listening to the High School Musical soundtrack (with ice cream of course). Izzy makes Kaitlyn laugh harder than anyone else, and Kaitlyn's favorite memories with her are all the sleepovers they had.

Joseph and Alex became friends in technical school in Texas and are now making memories as coworkers at their current base in California. Going on trips and hikes with Joseph has brought them closer together.

Maddie and Kaitlyn met in first grade. It was Maddie who teased Kaitlyn into finally noticing Alex, and she thanks her for being the best matchmaker! Maddie and Kaitlyn were in all the same extracurricular activities in school. Her favorite memories with Maddie include band, choreographing the school musicals in the choreography hallway, and all the countless sleepovers.

Bradley and Alex first became friends during high school homecoming in 2021 and are both movie fanatics. His best memory with Bradley is that hours-long last talk they had before Alex left for the military.

Liz and Kaitlyn have been friends since fifth grade, and Liz was in colorguard while Kaitlyn was in marching band in high school. Kaitlyn's favorite memories with Liz include hosting German exchange students, the countless sleepovers, and attending rock climbing summer camp together.

Elyssa and Kaitlyn are church besties that met at Illinois State University. They both love banger hymns, going on service trips, and being farmer's daughters and military girlfriends. They grew closer as coworkers and church and Kaitlyn loves how they can talk for hours and never run out of anything to talk about.

Zach and Alex met through their 3rd grade baseball team. Alex's favorite memories with Zach were made in the trumpet section. They were friendly competitors and enjoyed motivating each other musically. They both love movies.

Anna and Kaitlyn are friends from church at Illinois State University, but they also met through classes, sharing an Environmental Studies minor. Kaitlyn doesn't know how she would have gotten through those classes without the best essay reviewer at ISU. Her favorite memories with Anna were spent on church trips and as Anna's bridesmaid.

Brody and Alex met at basic military training in Texas. The two became good friends during their time in technical school, and all the studying and time spent together during classes made a lasting friendship.

Shannon and Kaitlyn are friends from marching band at Illinois State University. Her favorite memories with Shannon were spent in Watty dining hall on campus. Shannon and Kaitlyn traveled to Ireland together with BRMM and both like to vacation the same way: maximize sightseeing by eating trail mix as meals. They graduated together last May.
