Blenders In The Grass-Paradise
BEST SMOOTHIES EVER!!! Their original store is in Santa Barbara which is where I discovered it. And now every time Michael Thomas and I visit Grandpa Dick in Ventura we have to stop for Blenders! My favorite: Tropical Guava Michael Thomas’ favorite: Red Mango
East Main Street
This is a fun street in the heart of Ventura. There are so many little shops and stores to visit! Rent some bikes and head from this street down to the beach to ride along the waves!
Newhall Refinery
This became a new staple in “Downtown Newhall” which didn’t exist 10 years ago. Lots of great beers and specialty foods to enjoy! Michael Thomas even tried the lobster mac’n’cheese that he still raves about to this day!
Towsley Canyon Park
There is a one mile and five mile loop you can hike if you want to spend Friday or Sunday being a part of the outdoors! We have hiked this so many times, and somehow it never gets easier! Hahaha

If you are craving breakfast burritos this is the place to go to! Don’t be fooled by the “fast food” look, its just pure goodness! We suggest getting the Junior size unless you’re trying to soak up some libations from the night before!

This has been a staple in my life, and they have great Italian food if that’s what you desire!
Margaritas Mexican Grill
I almost suggested Don Coco’s which is another amazing Mexican place, however Michael Thomas and I spent many a date here at Margarita’s! Delicious libations, decent food!

Another staple in my life! Great BBQ food, quick sit down or take out atmosphere! This is a go to for a great lunch!
