The most iconic destination in Boulder - Pearl St. is a great way to spend an afternoon or evening. You can't go wrong with any of the restaurants and the shops range from bougie to whimsical.
Sanitas Brewing Co.
Breweries...it's kind of what Colorado does. This one is located in Boulder and has a great outdoor area with a food truck that rocks (Super Heady Nachos are highly recommended).
Avery Brewing Company
More beer! Avery is in Gunbarrel, about 15 minutes north of central Boulder. Want to see where Matt went to pre-school and middle school? Avery is the place for you - Boulder Country Day School sits right across the street. Great list of beers and good food with an open outdoor sitting area.

Chautauqua Park
The Colorado Chautauqua, located in Boulder, Colorado, United States, and started in 1898, is the only Chautauqua west of the Mississippi River still continuing in unbroken operation since the heyday of the Chautauqua Movement in the 1920s. It's close to downtown Boulder and has some beautiful hiking trails with great views of the city. Again - remember to bring water and sunscreen

Need to entertain a family? Top Golf is a great way to have some group fun in a controlled environment. Located about 25 minutes from central Boulder.
Estes Park
Only an hour north of Boulder and half n hour from Lyons, Estes Park is a beautiful mountain town that any out of town guests should check out. There is a wonderful downtown strip with lots of fun shops and restaurants. Feeling adventurous? There are dozens of hiking trails and a Gondola Ride option. Fan of Stephen King? The Stanley Hotel is on the north side of town. If you're looking for a beautiful drive, we recommend going the longer route and through Allens Park - it takes about half n hour longer but is very much worth the time.

Want to get up to the mountains but don't want to commit a full day or afternoon? Go check out Ned! It's a beautiful drive and there's a pizza place that makes a killer Margharita pie (Crosscut Pizzeria).
Interlocken Golf Club
Fancy to hit the link and see what happens to a drive at altitude? Omni Interlocken has a tremendous golf course. Last we checked, the clubhouse does offer rentals should you need a set of sticks.
