FAQs

Question

Does your wedding date mean anything?

Answer

Yes, each set of numbers has a significat meaning to us. 10.8.2022 10 = The month in which we started talking to each other 8 = The month in which Matt proposed 20 = The year in which we got engaged 22 = The actual day Matt proposed

Question

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

Cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

October in Asheville can be variable in weather. Our ceremony is outdoors before the sun goes down and the reception is indoors. If you tend to get chilly, we recommend bringing a jacket or coat for the ceremony.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00, so we ask that guests arrive between 4:00 and 4:45 to find seats!

Question

Can I bring extra people?

Answer

Our venue does have a guest capacity, so we have very carefully created our guest list to make sure our close friends and family can attend. Only those specifically addressed in the invitation are able to attend.

Answer

If you have any dietary restrictions, please reach out to us early on, so we can ensure you have delicious meal within your restrictions during our wedding!

When you post them, make sure to tag us and use our hashtag #thehuntisover so we can look back over the night!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We will have an open bar serving Highland Brewing's best beer, as well as house wines, sodas, and water. We will not be serving liquor at our wedding; instead check out some of the amazing beer brewed right at our venue! Cash tips, while not required, are absolutely allowed for our awesome bartenders!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Highland Brewing has a large parking lot and guests are welcome to park there! If you plan on drinking, we highly recommend using Uber or Lyft, both of which are widely available in the area. if you drive to the wedding and are unable to drive home, you are more than welcome to leave your vehicle overnight and pick it up in the morning to ensure everyone gets home safely!

Answer

To ensure the safety of all of our loved ones, we are requesting that all guests be fully vaccinated to attend our wedding. We want to celebrate with all of our friends and family, but want to do so in the safest way possible!

Question

Answer

If you have questions that are not answered here on our website, please reach out prior to the wedding! The closer we get to the wedding, the more planning we will have on our plates, so please reach out early with any questions!
