Wedding Party

Evan Cohan

Officiant

Evan is a kindred spirit to Jeff and Kathryn, sharing their love of all things barley, biking, and adventure. From the whipped cream-topped stouts of Strangebrew Fest to the sour and funky ales of the Farmhouse and Wild Ale Festival, they always find a reason to hang out and drink beer. Evan successfully led Jeff and Kathryn through the bike paths and breweries of Belgium and Portland. Now he will guide them into the next chapter of their lives as their officiant.

Aaron Whitehill

Groomsman

Jeff was always the twerp younger brother to Aaron. Still, he let him come to LAN parties with his college friends and bought him his first malt liquor. Now, in their refined older ages, they connect over Dungeons and Dragons, bacon, and grouchiness. However, Aaron and Jeff have really connected over one thing - picking on their middle brother.

Fiona Whitton

Bridesmaid

Fiona and Kathryn met playing tennis at the local UC tennis club as kids. They stayed friends over Survivor, boys, study-drinking, touristing, Portland, and their mutual love of cats (plus that time Fiona talked the tennis coach into letting Kathryn join the team). Fiona remains a supportive and cat-loving presence in Kathryn's life, and also helps her navigate ridiculous veterinary emergencies via text.

Randy Whitehill

Groomsman

Randy is Jeff's middle brother. He's also the brother that shared a room with him for more than a decade. Their Legos and Micromachines were scattered on their floor. They went on countless scouting adventures and wrestled each other into submission on the kitchen floor. Now that they're adults, they don't play with Micromachines. Not much else had changed though.

Jodi Wolf

Bridesmaid

Jodi and Kathryn were brought together by BBG, their Jewish youth group. They might as well have been sisters Kathryn spent so much time with Jodi and her family! Jodi was there for her through thick and thin...and AEpi parties, vegas trips, slumber parties and other shenanigans. Jodi is the light to Kathryn's dark, the Audi to her bug, and the perfect partner in crime.

Tim Kopp

Groomsman

Tim and Jeff became good friends in the mountains of Switzerland where they shared a cold can of ravioli under the stars. Since then, they have enjoyed many long hikes in the mountains and forests of the Pacific Northwest, tailgating in all weather, and brewing beer that is becoming more and more drinkable. All of their adventures seem to involve some sort of mishap, but those make the best stories.

Erica Ciaraldi

Bridesmaid

Erica and Kathryn met through their moms. Kathryn lured Erica onto her youth group board and they were inseparable forever after. They shared countless adventures together, including their first time getting pulled over after sneaking into a neighborhood hot tub, coordinating ridiculous outfits for BBYO dances, and always-eventful road trips to Irvine. Erica even went to UCLA for grad school, and then worked in Africa. They were pretty much meant to be.

Ian Williams

Groomsman

Ian and Jeff met in the dorms of Haggett Hall, where Ian was playing a game called Star Wars Mafia (don't ask, they'll want to play). Jeff, being a huge nerd, was instantly intrigued. Star Wars Mafia evolved into Halo Tournaments, Settlers of Catan, and intramural soccer. Not much has changed since then, except the games they play.

Eddie

Ring Dog

Eddie came into Jeff's life as an adorable puppy. While Jeff likes to think he did all the charming to win Kathryn's heart, Eddie definitely had a big part as well. He's been their companion on road trips, hiking in the Cascades, and exploring neighborhood parks. He currently holds the role of house sheriff, protecting boxes and plants from his little sister, Scout.
