Dr. Vikisha Fripp-Vincent and Nicole are Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Line Sisters and the best of friends. They met during the summer of 1992 and then enrolled at Fisk University that fall. Vikisha is one of the funniest people you'll ever meet! She can give Tiffany Haddish a run for her money. No lie! Both Vikisha and Nicole have a robust sense of humor, probably explaining why they’ve always gotten along so well! Vikisha says Nicole is funnier than she is and Nicole says just the opposite! Regardless, there are too many good times and fond memories between these sisters/BFFs. Vikisha is a board certified Plastic Surgeon at Providence Hospital (Washington, DC), an Associate Professor at Howard University, and the proud mother of Lauren (Flower Girl), and twin boys, Cameron and Chase.
Jon Jordan
Best Man
Jon is the younger brother of Chris by 16 months yet, while growing up, they were often mistaken for twins! In school, Jon was one grade behind Chris and rarely did you see one without the other. Neither of them were small in stature. If you messed with “the bean” (Chris), you welcomed yourself to “the whole burrito” (Jon). Their bond is everlasting as brothers should be. Jon would check you when you were wrong and help you before he hurt you. John is a trooper and a man of God. Jon is a Captain in the Nashville Fire Department and has been with the NFD for many years. Jon is the father of Jay Jordan who attends UTK and Shon Jordan who attends Carson Newman.
Adriane Southall-Good

Adriane, Nicole, and Chris all attended Whites Creek High School together and have since remained friends. Adriane also attended Fisk University with Nicole. Adriane is like that fun loving sister who is always energetic, in a great mood, and cracking jokes! Adriane has always had an outgoing personality, an infectious laugh to go along with it, and a heart of gold! Thank you Adriane for being such a good friend! Adriane has worked many years for the Metropolitan Health Department as a Disease Intervention Specialist/HIV Surveillance, and a Hepatitis Specialist. Just know this, you NEVER want to recieve a knock on your door from her. Seriously! She is the proud mother of two, Charles II and Olivia..
Raymond Crenshaw

Ray is Chris’s older brother by 4 years. As a kid, Chris admired and looked up to him. Chris always wanted to go wherever Ray went and dress just as fashionable as Ray did. Chris attributes his love for R&B and Hip Hop to his older brother. Lastly, if it wasn’t for Ray, Chris wouldn’t know how to drive a manual transmission or how to approach and be sweet to girls! Sounds like Ray taught Chris the true meaning of SWAGGER. Even though Chris and Jon referenced themselves as “The Burrito,” Ray was considered “The Server.” He always protected his younger brothers and had their very best interests at heart. Ray has 3 lovely adult daughters (Latronya, Alanah, and Sydnei) and 2 grandchildren, Brooklyn (Flower Girl) and Braiden. Ray enjoys working for The Tennessee Lottery!
Kristen Brown

Kristen and Nicole met when they were 10 years old, attended middle school together and were cheerleaders at the local community center. It didn't hurt one bit that Kristen had the cutest curly haired brother. Nicole began to interact with the Browns on a regular basis and truly considers all of them to be her extended family. Interestingly, both Kristen and Chris's parents grew up together, attending both Pearl High and TSU. Chris remembers when he and Jon would go to the Brown house as children, on occasion, and play with Kristen and her brother. Kristen, Chris, and Nicole all attended the same High School and still have tremendous love and respect for one another! Kristen is credited as being Nicole’s "Original BFF." KB is an awesome Hair Stylist, Bartender, and loves to cook.
Jimmy Mayes

Jimmy, Chris, and Jon grew up in Parkwood, in the 80’s. Jimmy was the only one in the neighborhood that owned a mountain bike which caught the attention of not only the Jordan brothers but every other kid in the neighborhood. It was soon determined that Jimmy was approachable and down to earth. Over time, Jimmy became more like a brother rather than an ordinary friend. He literally ate dinner with the Jordan family, oftentimes, stayed the night, and would even go on family vacations. To this day, Chris’s parents treat Jimmy as their own. Jimmy served 8 years in the US Army as a Specialist E-4 and currently works for a towing company. He has a daughter Bree who attends Kenwood High School in Clarksville, TN.
Dr. Phyllis Freeman

Dr Phyllis Freeman is Nicole’s “Ride-or-Die” sister/friend. Phyllis and Nicole go back well over two decades. Phyllis has been a huge support for Nicole and her family over the years - through the good times and the not so good times. Phyllis is another friend that will have your stomach hurting from laughing so hard, but she is also the one you want by your side when someone tries to hate/throw shade. To witness that New Jersey wrath come up and out is an experience in and of itself! Phyllis is Nicole’s homegirl for life! Phyllis is also Nicole’s Sorority sister and a prominent Professor at Fisk University! She is the proud mother of 3 college graduates. Kiella, Fayla, and Alex, all of which Nicole has known and loved since they were small children!
Chris Jordan Jr.

Chris Jr is the son of the groom and a true blessing. At an early age, Chris Jr loved playing and being around his dad. As a young child, he exhibited true signs of genius - using his dad's tools to construct toys such as automobiles. lawn mowers, etc. Chris Jr is a mature 18 year old. He has a true appreciation for music and gaming. He's very artistic, loves to learn knew things, and ride four wheelers. Chris Jr is an upcoming Senior in the Power and Engineering Academy at Maplewood High School and starting left tackle on the football team. He is currently touring colleges, training, and attending football camps, preparing himself both academically and physically to excel in his field of choice and/or play ball. Chris Jr is a joy to his family and an exceptional young man!

Lauren comes to us by way of Wahington, D.C. She is the daughter of Mr Carl Vincent and Dr. Vikisha Fripp-Vincent (Maid of Honor)! She is also Nicole’s God daughter! Lauren is 7 yrs old and loves being a big sister to her twin brothers. Lauren is on her way to 2nd grade, plays Lacrosse, loves to swim, and is a gifted violinist! She loves ACTING, and has her own YOU TUBE Channel called Pilar’s Palace!
Little Miss Brooklyn Pitt

Brooklyn is 9 yrs old, excited to be going to the 3rd grade, and loves being a big sister! Brooklyn is Chris’s great niece and quite a joy to have around! Brooklyn enjoys playing basketball, soccer, and swimming. Around the house, she likes to bake, read, and keep busy with activities on the computer. Brooklyn is very artistic and an Honor Roll student! She’s received numerous accolades in art, music, and reading!
Mister Devin Esquire Hurd

Devin is a very outgoing 9 yr old and the youngest of 3 children! He is the handsome young cousin of Nicole. Devin is on his way to the 4th grade with Math and Science being his favorite subjects. He is very active in sports, following in the footsteps of both his older brother Dexter and sister Deniece. He plays basketball, football, and soccer. He also finds the time to bowl in a league, golf, and swim. Devin enjoys attending church service, loves the Lord, and usually will not hesitate to pray for you, on the spot, upon your request! He’s our little preacher man and so much more. He also loves spending time with family and friends, nerf wars, and simply having fun.
