Arianna McCormick
Hey there! I'm Arianna. I started Rare Raven Studio (previously McCormick Design and Photography) back around 2013. I had grown up around cameras and always loved whatever I could get my hands on. Film, digital, video, you name it. It wasn't until I had my daughter that I really started taking anything seriously though. All of the sudden, I had a reason to stay consistent in my documentation. The rest is pretty much history. A few of my favorite things: Darth Vader, the Space Jam soundtrack, traveling, DC comics, Mac & Cheese, chicken marsala, more cheese, serial killer and mythology podcasts, and allll the doggos!
So what does a wedding day look like with me, you ask? I will be there to capture the magic of your unique, playful selves. I will put you and your experience over all else. I will be your resource, your rock, your advocate. I’ll tell you how phenomenal you are, make you laugh with dumb jokes, and I will always, ALWAYS have your back. Basically just think of me as your wedding day genie. I’ll be your drink grabber, dress carrier, snack sneaker, best friend for the day, and your adaptable, versatile human Swiss “Ari” Knife to give you whatever you want or need.

Simply Amazing!
Arianna made our New Orleans destination wedding INCREDIBLE! I can't even begin to describe how amazing all of our photos turned out! She is the best at what she does, and I would rehire her in an instant. She helped me make my day of plan, so we were able to capture every moment and it made our wedding day a breeze. I can't begin to thank her enough for everything!

Arianna was great and every picture was beautiful! She is very easy to work with and communicative. We live in Chicago, and she was willing to travel from IN and walk around the Lake Front to capture the most beautiful engagement photos. The day of the wedding was perfect; you barely knew she was there, but I'm an amazing photographer way. I loved all candid photos, and the EVERYONE loved the photo booth. Overall, Arianna makes the process so easy and chill, which I needed. You won't regret booking her services!
An amazing experience
I found Arianna via Zola. I took a shot messaging an unknown person, and it was one of the best decisions I made for my big day. Her work is beautiful and unforgettable. She’s great to work with, cares about the couple and their needs, and is creative with the venues and couples. We opted for the option for our engagement photos and the Photo Booth. Our guests loved it. Who needs favors, do the Photo Booth instead! Highly recommend her!

Ari keeps you filled in all along the way providing you with everything you need. Her photos are AMAZING and she makes you feel so comfortable and relaxed through it all. Our wedding party was 18 people so you can only imagine the chaos of controlling all those people. She manage to do this and keep everyone in their place! She even picked up a couple sessions for my nieces engagement phones in the spare time she had of my wedding. I 100% recommend using her! She even loves to travel!
