I love traveling everywhere and anywhere, talking with my hands, buying plants (and attempting to keep them alive), and spending as much time as I can with my loved ones. I have lived in Boston, Paris, and New York City, and am now lucky enough to call Charleston home, while also still traveling the world for my clients. You can usually find me on my back porch in downtown Charleston, right next to my favorite little park.

It wasn't until I got pregnant with my first child that I developed a strong passion for photography. When I'm not taking pictures I enjoy exercising, reading books, and hanging out with my family & friends

I Am An Elopement And Intimate Wedding Photographer. I have a passion for capturing the raw emotion and beauty of my couple’s special day. As an Elopement and Intimate Wedding photographer, I believe that the photos of your big day should reflect your personalities and the love you share. I want the photos of my wedding that I don’t have –; that capture the moments of affection between our family members; that remind us of the little details and big feelings of that day. I want the photos of my father-in-law walking my wife down the aisle, six months before he unexpectedly passed away. Those photos don’t exist. Instead, I have a handful of blurry, poorly edited images, the half-hearted efforts of an amateur photographer who didn’t yet know what he was doing with a camera. At that time I didn’t know the value of a professional wedding photographer, so I didn’t make the investment and it’s one of the biggest mistakes I’ve made.

I got my first digital camera at 13 and spent the afternoons capturing flowers in our backyard; ever since it's been my dream to have my own photography business. Photography and writing were the two ways I expressed myself and were their own kind of therapy for me. And now, I use photography as a type of therapy for my clients. I believe there is a power in the vulnerability of being and feeling seen. So, photography is my tool to help others feel truly seen and celebrated. It's so important to make everyone feel this way, especially on their elopement/wedding day :)
