“We absolutely loved having our wedding at the Van Cortlandt Lake House! Althea was amazing every step of the way, and the location right on the water was beautiful for both our ceremony on the grass and the reception on the patio. We had about 90 guests and a 9-piece live band, and there was still plenty of space to dance! The food was also excellent, and we were able to choose signature cocktails for the two brides. Excellent value for the price--they took care of everything to make our special day run seamlessly!”

The entire staff made our dream wedding day come true and I could not recommend the venue more. Sasha was our wedding attendant and so sweet and attentive and patient. She's been working at the venue for 19 years and her experience was so helpful to have! We moved cocktail hour out on the patio for an additional fee which was also greatly appreciated by our guests who got to take amazing photos and enjoy the gardens before our dinner - highly recommend considering if it's in your budget! Again, really enjoyed working with the entire NYBG team and specifically with Chantal and Sasha. We will thrilled with the outcome!”
