PLEASE DO NOT BOOK LODGING WITHOUT GUIDANCE FROM THE BRIDE & GROOM We’re so excited to celebrate our wedding with you at Stout’s Island Lodge on Saturday, September 19, 2026. The entire island is ours for the weekend, and Lauren and Matthew will be coordinating lodging for all guests. There will be flexible options whether you’re able to join us just for the wedding, stay a single night, or turn the celebration into a longer getaway. We’re thrilled to spend this time with our favorite people, and the more time we can share on the island, the better. We’ll have activities planned on Friday during the day, and all who are able are invited to arrive Thursday night and enjoy a long weekend with us. Due to the weekend-long nature of this event, we kindly ask that you RSVP as early as you are able. To stay on-island requires a two-night minimum (Friday–Sunday) for accommodations. Lauren and Matthew will thoughtfully assign cabins and share booking details with you directly. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or specific requests! We will do our best to fit everyone on the island that would like to stay there, but please be aware that there are limited spots. For any guests we are unable to accommodate on-island, Lauren and Matthew will coordinate and communicate alternate options. Cabins on the island cost ~$300/night (though prices vary by unit) and include continental breakfast as well as all island activities for the weekend.

Alternative Options

Birchwood, WI

Space on the island is limited, and we know that some guests will not be able to join us for the whole weekend. For anybody staying off the island, Lauren and Matthew will coordinate directly with guests to ensure they have comfortable and convenient lodging - options include nearby AirBnbs and Tagalong Golf Resort, a ferry's ride away from Stout's Island. In addition to Tagalong and AirBnB's, more budget-friendly options are also available in Rice Lake, about 20 minutes from the Stout's Island ferry port. Please let us know if budget is an issue or priority for you, so we coordinate accordingly. All guests staying off-island are welcome to join us for all island activities, and we encourage you to choose the accommodation option that works best for you while maximizing the time we get to spend celebrating together!

Flight

MSP International Airport

For out-of-state guests, we recommend flying into Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP). Stout's Island Lodge is about a 2 hour drive east of the airport, and rental cars are easily available. Guests will not need rental cars throughout the weekend, and will only require transportation to and from the venue. For this reason, Lauren and Matthew are happy to help if you would like to coordinate sharing rental cars with other wedding guests.
