FAQs

If you have any questions other than the ones listed below, please feel free to reach out to Gabi or Caleb!
Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

February in Dallas is typically cool, with average daytime highs in the 60s and nighttime lows in the 40s. That said, Texas weather can be unpredictable, so we recommend bringing layers to stay comfortable. Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors. Weather permitting, cocktail hour will be held outdoors.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding will be formal attire. Think suit, tux, floor-length / midi gown, or formal cocktail dress. Please bring your dancing shoes (something comfortable) for the reception!

Question

Can I bring a plus one/kids?

Answer

Due to limited space, we kindly request that only the individuals listed on the invitation attend. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests arrive between 1:30-1:45 PM to allow plenty of time to park, find a seat, and get settled before the ceremony begins promptly at 2:00 PM.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Both St. Monica and The Laurel have large parking lots. You may leave your car overnight at The Laurel and pick it up any time the following day. Additionally, Uber and Lyft services are readily available at any time of day (or night)!

Question

What should I do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There is about two hours between the ceremony at St. Monica Catholic Church and the reception at The Laurel. You could head back to your hotel to relax or head somewhere to hangout (lots of bars in the area).

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos or using your phone during the ceremony, so everyone can be fully present and share in the moment with us. However, feel free to take lots of photos/videos during cocktail hour and the reception! We’d love to see the celebration through your eyes—please share your favorite shots with us!
