How to Get Here Our wedding will take place in the heart of the historic Zona Colonial, Santo Domingo. For our guests traveling from abroad, the closest airport is Las Américas International Airport (SDQ) — about 30 minutes from the Zona Colonial. Taxis and Ubers are easily available at the airport. Where to Stay We recommend staying within the Zona Colonial or nearby so you’re close to the celebration and the city’s charm. There are plenty of beautiful hotels, boutique inns, and Airbnb options to fit different styles and budgets. Getting Around The Zona Colonial is very walkable — comfy shoes recommended! Summer weekends can be busy in Santo Domingo — please book your stay as soon as possible to get the best rates and your preferred hotel or rental! For those who prefer a rental, there are many beautiful colonial houses and apartments available on Airbnb — we recommend staying in the Zona Colonial or nearby Gazcue for convenience.
