When you get your invite, if it's addressed to two people or it says "and guest," then yes, absolutely! If not, we'd prefer not—we're working with a pretty small space. (If it would really make the difference between attending or not for you, then contact us and we'll see what we can do.)
We love your kids, but this is a night for adults and is taking place at a bar.
Thanks for asking! Collectively, we are the couple, the betrothed, and the newlyweds, but neither of us particularly feels comfortable being Brides. Individually, please just use our names!
Mugsie is nonbinary & that's the best fit for them. Grammatically it's conjugated like a singular pronoun & like you would for an unknown person. Incidentally, "they" with this meaning was the Time 2015 Word of the Year, and all major dictionaries now recognize it as a valid singular pronoun!
Sure thing! -Oh no, someone left their jacket here! -Mugsie's dress looks great! Did they make it [themself/themselves]? -If someone said "tell me about Mugsie's family," you could say: "Mugsie has a great cat and partner!" or "They have the cutest partner and cat around!" Please contact Zoe, Jonathan, or Ellen if you have further questions.
No! Please don't—it's an enclosed space, and several parties involved have scent sensitivities. You don't need to change your deodorant (unless it's an axe spray - there's a specific allergy) but we'd appreciate it if you ditched that perfume.
Why, yes! The wedding will be livestreamed at https://livestream.com/malonemedia/zomg and you can watch it there at the same time as it's actually happening. (See also the "Streaming" page on this very website.)
