We will have a few high-risk guests attending. That being said, we're assuming all attendees are vaccinated and boosted. We are not asking for proof of negative tests OR masking. We ARE asking you to be mindful and stay home if you're not feeling well. We'll absolutely miss you, but we'll all be grateful to you!
This a semi-formal event – no need for tuxes or ball gowns (unless you WANT to wear them, of course). Get fancy!
Since we don't have a block of rooms at any other hotels, we have not arranged for transportation to any other locations. Lyft and Uber both operate in the area, but it would be a good idea to schedule a ride early since Glasbern is a bit remote.
Yes, and plenty of it! Glasbern staff will be directing traffic starting around 40 minutes before the ceremony.
Absolutely, but please let us know as early as possible.
The reception itself is over at 10:30 p.m. There will be a 30 minute break (until 11 p.m.), then those of us who aren't ready to say goodnight can move over to Glasbern's pub where there will be a cash bar with games and snacks until 1 a.m.
We'll be ready to seat folks by around 4:30 p.m. for the ceremony starting at 5:00 p.m.
We are aiming to keep this event adults-only, with the exception of immediate family (nieces and nephew). If issues arise, please reach out and we'll chat about it!
An overnight stay **includes a full breakfast** and is served 7-10:30 a.m. From their website: We ask that our guests be respectful of others while dining at Glasbern's restaurant, both at breakfast and dinner. Please, no sleepwear at breakfast and for dinner, many guests celebrate special occasions with us, so please be mindful. We suggest collared shirts and comfortable dress style slacks for male guests and a similar style for our female guests. Glasbern's checkout time is **noon**, so get some rest!
