This is a great beach to walk around in. If you keep your eyes on the water you could see seals, whales, and more!

Take the tram to the top of the mountain, hike, grab some food, and take in the view.

Mount Roberts Tramway

Not only is this the final destination on the Fourth of July, but it also used to be an old mining town. Walk around the trails and you will see remnants from the mine and enjoy Juneau/Douglas' only sandy beach.

Sandy Beach

Across the highway from the Eagle River United Methodist Camp, this beach has great flats to walk on, picnic shelters, and a stunning view of the Chilkat Mountain Range.

While you are in the state capital of Alaska, why not visit the capitol building? Get a tour, learn about the state, and walk down the street for some Heritage Coffee afterward.
